Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact on student success by providing essential support as a school psychologist in the Marquette, MI area. This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to work with K-12 students, collaborating with educators and families to address learning, behavior, and mental health needs. Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Michigan Experience performing assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering crisis intervention Strong understanding of K-12 educational settings and diverse student populations Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement interventions Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized educational planning Provide counseling and mental health support for students as needed Deliver crisis intervention and consultation for behavioral and learning concerns Maintain detailed, confidential student records and documentation Advise on best practices for promoting students' social-emotional development This contract position offers you the chance to create positive outcomes for students at all grade levels in a supportive school community.
