Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to a dynamic K-12 educational setting in the Mount Clemens, MI area. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, teachers, and fellow professionals to make a meaningful difference. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering positive learning environments and has a strong background in supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification (required) Experience working with K-12 students in school settings Solid understanding of conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Skilled in report writing, data analysis, and the presentation of findings to multidisciplinary teams Strong communication skills for collaboration with parents, teachers, and other professionals Responsibilities in
This Role:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students across grade levels K-12 Attend and actively participate in school meetings, including eligibility and IEP meetings Observe students within classroom and non-classroom settings to provide informed recommendations Prepare thorough and individualized psychological reports Collaborate on the development and implementation of BIPs to support student success In addition to a rewarding professional experience, this position offers competitive pay ranging between $50/hr and $57/hr.
