Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference every day by bringing your expertise as a School Psychologist to students in a supportive academic environment near Muskegon, MI. This contract position allows you to collaborate with educators and families, advocating for student success and shaping positive school experiences.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist in Michigan Master's or Specialist-level degree from an accredited program in School Psychology Previous experience working in K-12 school settings is preferred Proficiency with student assessments, IEP processes, and special education services Strong interpersonal skills for consultation with staff, students, and families Ability to manage caseload effectively within school deadlines and requirements

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students Deliver direct counseling and intervention services as part of the special education team Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs Provide expertise in behavioral interventions and academic supports Participate in

RTI/MTSS

teams, offering insights on academic and social-emotional development Support crisis intervention and offer recommendations for student safety and well-being Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of all student interactions, assessments, and meetings
