School Psychologist - Pontiac, MI Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Pontiac, MI Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications School experience School psychology Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students' growth and well-being near Pontiac, MI. We are seeking dedicated and skilled school psychologists ready to make a difference for PreK-12th grade students. This assignment offers the chance to work onsite during the 26'-27' academic year, with possibilities for earlier summer extended school year (ESY) engagement as well. Two positions are available, each offering a consistent 35-hour workweek focused on elementary and middle school populations while remaining flexible to serve across all grade levels.
What We're Looking For:
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with school psychology practices in an educational setting Ability to independently manage the full spectrum of school psychologist responsibilities, from assessments to collaborative intervention planning Demonstrated effectiveness in working with diverse student needs across elementary, middle, and high school environments Active Michigan School Psychologist license (applicants must provide evidence of current licensure) Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a range of psychological services, including evaluations, counseling, and consultations Interpret assessments and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to design effective interventions Participate in special education meetings and contribute to the development of individualized educational plans Support the emotional, academic, and behavioral development of students at all grade levels Maintain accurate, timely documentation according to district and legal guidelines Why Consider This Opportunity?
