School Psychologist in Redford, MI Redford, MI Job Details Full-time | Contract 3 days ago Qualifications Practicing as a mental health professional Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based psychologist position is available in Redford, MI, for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves delivering psychological services that support students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs within the school community. The psychologist will collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to assess student needs, develop effective intervention plans, and foster a positive mental health environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student strengths and challenges Developing and implementing individualized intervention strategies and support plans Consulting with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success and well-being Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the development of school-wide initiatives Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with professional and legal standards Qualifications and experience required: Michigan School Psychologist Certification is mandatory Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and communication Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and approach challenges with a cooperative mindset This is a full-time, onsite contract position requiring 37.5 hours per week.
