Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Travel A School Psychologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, providing psychological services and support to students in an educational setting in Redford, MI. This role requires collaboration with educators and families to assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and promote mental health within the school environment. The work schedule is approximately 37.5 hours per week, with specific dates to be determined.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student well-being Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to address academic and social-emotional challenges Promote mental health awareness and provide consultation within the school community Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification required Experience working in a school setting is preferred Strong skills in psychological assessment and intervention techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders
Work Environment:
This position requires onsite, in-person presence within the school This travel assignment offers the opportunity to impact student lives positively while working in a dynamic educational environment.
