Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract This opportunity is perfect for professionals who thrive in educational settings and are passionate about supporting students' growth and well-being. Working full-time on a contract basis, you'll engage closely with school teams to conduct essential psychological assessments and collaborate directly with educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
Current Michigan School Psychologist certification is required Previous experience as a school psychologist or related role strongly preferred Proficiency with observations, performing evaluations, and conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) Skilled in collaborating during IEP meetings and providing expert behavioral insights Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to assist with educational planning and interventions Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering valuable input regarding student needs Lead and document detailed behavioral observations and FBAs Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to formulate individualized recommendations Deliver guidance for student interventions and follow-up support Maintain compliance with all relevant state and school policies This position offers a competitive hourly compensation between $45 and $55, with additional benefits available to eligible candidates, including healthcare, housing, and meals/incidentals coverage.
