Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing vital psychological services in a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity is perfect for dedicated School Psychologists who are ready to independently serve a diverse PreK-12th grade student population onsite in a dynamic educational setting near Rochester, MI. Enjoy the flexibility of crafting your schedule during the regular school day, working approximately 35 hours per week across elementary and middle school levels—with potential to serve the Extended School Year (ESY) as well.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active Michigan School Psychologist license (screenshot of license required with application). Experience or familiarity with providing psychological services to PreK-12th grade students. Proven ability to manage a full range of school psychologist responsibilities independently. Comfortable supporting students with a range of academic, social, behavioral, and emotional needs. Skilled in conducting assessments, writing reports, facilitating meetings, and collaborating with educators and families.
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive school psychology services, including evaluations, consultations, and direct student interventions. Conduct assessments for eligibility and educational planning. Facilitate and participate in IEP and other multidisciplinary team meetings. Provide crisis intervention, behavioral support, and preventive mental health programs as needed. Maintain timely and compliant documentation. This is a contract role supporting around 35 hours weekly during the school year, with opportunities to serve in future ESY roles.
