Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students in a dynamic school environment near Rochester, MI. This full-time, contracted opportunity begins August 25 and extends through June 18, giving you the chance to follow your students' growth and achievements throughout the school year. Engage with a manageable caseload of 50-60 students and enjoy the ability to focus on comprehensive psychological services. The role involves a consistent 37.5 hours per week schedule, though there is some flexibility for well-qualified part-time applicants. You'll be a valued collaborator within a multidisciplinary team, offering assessments, direct intervention, and guidance to students and staff.
Key qualifications and experience:
Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Graduate degree in School Psychology or a related field Prior experience in elementary settings is strongly preferred Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and developing plans Strong communication and consultation abilities with students, families, and educators Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment Responsibilities include: Providing psychological assessments, interventions, and counseling for elementary students Supporting program development and contributing to IEP meetings Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs Collaborating with the educational team to create positive solutions Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation Earn between $50 and $70 per hour in this rewarding position where your expertise has a direct influence on student well-being and achievement.
