Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time, onsite position is dedicated to supporting elementary school students across four different schools in Romulus, MI. The role involves providing essential psychological services to support student growth and development, with a focus on assisting an intern during the extended school year (ASAP-ESY).
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions tailored to elementary-aged students. Support and mentor a school psychology intern to enhance their professional development. Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to foster a supportive learning environment. Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings to address student needs. Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district and state guidelines.Qualifications:
Valid certification or license as a school psychologist. Experience working within elementary school settings. Strong skills in psychological assessment and intervention strategies. Ability to provide supervision and support to interns. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to onsite work at multiple school locations.Location:
