Job Summary:
The Psychologist will be responsible for independently providing diagnostic assessments and re-evaluations for children and adolescents referred to our agency for behavioral, developmental and psychological challenges.
Job Qualifications & Responsibilities:
Completes autism diagnostic assessments and re-evaluations for individuals 18 months to 21 years of age. Administer psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations, including administering parent interviews, developmental/cognitive testing, academic testing, adaptive behavior assessment, and the ADOS-2. Administers, scores, interprets, and writes reports using the following required instruments as part of a battery of tests: Use standardized testing, individually, and/or a combination of, as a part of each evaluation, as follows: The tests used must adequately evaluate behavior, communication and social interaction. The tests used, when taken together, must include both interview and observation. The list of identified tests utilized for the evaluations, include, but are not limited to, the following: The Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale (ADOS) The Autism Diagnostic Interview, Revised; (ADI-R) The Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS), Second Edition The Social Communication Questionnaire (SCQ), Current/Lifetime Version Gilliam Autism Rating Scale (GARS) All appointment scheduling is completed by

Minimum Requirements :
Doctoral degree and licensed in the state of Michigan as a Psychologist. Must have a license (LP) in the state of Michigan for the coordinating degree and maintain licensure throughout employment Valid Michigan Driver's License, appropriate insurance and use of own vehicle. Must provide clearance that there is no record and/or convictions as a perpetrator of child abuse/and or neglect on the State of MI Child Abuse/Neglect Central Registry.
