Locums About the Facility This free-standing psychiatric hospital provides inpatient mental health services to adult populations requiring specialized psychiatric care, including those with severe mental illness and forensic psychiatric needs. The facility maintains established protocols for psychological services and emphasizes therapeutic interventions within a structured inpatient environment. About the Facility Location Detroit offers a range of cultural and culinary experiences, including the Motown Museum, the Detroit Institute of Arts, culinary tours, and specialty museums. The area is also home to the Detroit Zoo, which continues to expand its offerings with new trails and attractions. Detroit presents a well-rounded destination suitable for both families and adults. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide psychological services to an adult, severely mentally ill inpatient population and a forensic psychiatric population within a free-standing psychiatric hospital, working five days per week during day shifts on a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. Responsibilities include delivering individual and group therapy sessions while maintaining accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility protocols. No call requirements are associated with this position.
