Qualifications & Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist. Experience in educational settings preferred. Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills. Familiarity with special education procedures and relevant legal requirements. Ability to thrive collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Compassionate, organized, and adaptable to varying caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret test results. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student development. Provide individual and group counseling to address behavioral, emotional, or social challenges. Participate in the creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed. Consult on behavioral interventions and strategies for classroom success. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines.
