Job Description

Make a difference in students lives by providing vital psychological services during the 20262027 school year. This opportunity is ideal for adaptable School Psychologists looking to expand their impact beyond traditional testing. Serving within a supportive network of educators and families, youll help foster the academic and emotional success of students through direct assessment, intervention, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning. Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor individualized intervention plans. Promote positive mental health and wellbeing through preventative programs and student support activities. Support special education evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and offer recommendations. Engage in building-wide initiatives and assist with non-testing duties to help schools implement best psychological practices.

Qualifications:

Michigan School Psychologist Certification required; open to candidates willing to obtain MI licensure before the start date. Experience in a K-12 school setting preferred. Strong assessment, intervention, and data analysis skills. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities. Collaborative and flexible, thriving in a team-focused environment.

Assignment Details:

37.5 hours per week, following the academic calendar (August 25, 2026June 11, 2027). Work onsite in 12 school buildings within a dynamic district that values a broad scope for school psychologists. Supporting a diverse caseload alongside experienced colleagues.
