Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract role serving K-12 students and families for the entire 2026-2027 school year. This position offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities in a school setting just outside Waterford, MI. This is a full-time opportunity, totaling 37.5 hours per week, where your expertise will directly contribute to student growth and educational success.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Active Michigan School Psychologist license required Experience working in educational settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply Strong communication, collaboration, and assessment skills Ability to support diverse learners, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for K-12 students with moderate to severe disabilities Develop and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and planning Deliver consultation and collaboration services for teachers, administrators, and families Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed Assist with the development of intervention strategies to promote positive student outcomes Maintain detailed and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state guidelines
