It requires advanced training in comprehensive psychological assessment and treatment/interventions. Responsibilities, in a learning capacity, include psychological testing, provision of individual, group and family therapy, development of behavioral treatment plans and active functioning within a multidisciplinary team setting. All staff with start dates on/after 08/01/2026 will train at the Southeast Michigan Psychiatric Hospital (SMPH) in Northville but, upon completion of training may work at the Walter Reuther Psychiatric Hospital (WRPH) until their position/classification officially moves from WRPH to SMPH at a date yet to be determined.
