Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Part-time School Psychologist opportunity available in Wyandotte, MI, supporting a specialized center program. This role is ideal for professionals seeking a contract position with approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule is flexible, with options to work half-days Monday through Friday or condensed into 2.5 full days per week. This center serves students county-wide who meet eligibility criteria under MoCI, SCI, and SXI classifications, with age ranges spanning from 3 to 26 years. The primary responsibility of the school psychologist is conducting re-evaluations to support individualized education and intervention plans.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough psychological re-evaluations for students in the center program Collaborating with educational staff to interpret assessment results and contribute to planning Supporting a two-person psychologist team to ensure comprehensive student services Maintaining documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines Desired qualifications and experience: Credentialed as a School Psychologist with relevant licensure or certification Experience working with diverse student populations with special educational needs Familiarity with MoCI, SCI, and SXI eligibility categories preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
