Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference supporting students' success through the expertise of psychology in an educational setting. In this contract role based near Andover, MN, your skills and insights as a School Psychologist will be instrumental in fostering positive learning outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Active state-issued license, or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist Comprehensive knowledge of psychological assessments, data interpretation, and IEP processes Experience collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Skillful at conducting direct student evaluations and delivering evidence-based interventions Strong written and verbal communication abilities Adaptable, resourceful, and committed to best professional practices
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for K-12 students Consult with teachers, school staff, and families to identify and address student needs Participate actively in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) teams Develop and support individualized education plans (IEPs) to ensure appropriate goals and accommodations Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and mental health support as needed Keep thorough and timely documentation, reports, and progress notes Contribute to a culture of inclusivity and positive behavioral support within the school community This is an opportunity to bring your specialized knowledge and passion to a collaborative educational environment.
