Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in the educational field by supporting student success as a School Psychologist. In this contract position, you'll provide essential services to students and educators, working in a dynamic, collaborative school setting. Your expertise will help foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for children and adolescents.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Master's or specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field required Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Previous experience in school settings preferred Strong assessment skills for cognitive, emotional, and behavioral evaluations Ability to interpret data and create actionable intervention strategies Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals Capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
Responsibilities Include:
Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and needs Delivering individualized and group counseling services to support student mental health and academic growth Consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and assisting in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Implementing behavior management techniques and crisis intervention support as needed Providing professional development and resources for school staff related to mental health and learning differences Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations This contract opportunity offers a chance to broaden your experience and make a meaningful, day-to-day difference in the lives of students.
