Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School-Based Mental Health Therapist or Clinical Trainee to join our team in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. This rewarding position provides mental health services to students in grades 3-5 at South Point Elementary School, helping children and families build emotional well-being, resilience, and success both in school and at home. Clinical trainees are encouraged to apply. Alluma provides clinical supervision and professional development opportunities to support growth toward independent licensure. As a member of Alluma's school-based mental health team, you will collaborate with experienced clinicians, school staff, and families to provide high-quality, accessible mental health care within the school setting. You will play an important role in helping elementary-aged students develop the skills they need to understand, manage, and overcome emotional and behavioral challenges. Key Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and group mental health therapy services to elementary-aged students. Engage families in treatment planning, communication, and coordination of care. Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and administration to support student success. Develop and implement interventions focused on early identification, prevention, and treatment of mental health concerns. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, payer, and licensing requirements. Participate in consultation, supervision, and professional development activities. Why Join Alluma? What We're Looking For:
A master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field. Licensure or license eligibility in the state of Minnesota and North Dakota (LGSW, LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, etc.). Experience or passion for working with children and families in a school-based or clinical setting. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Must pass a criminal background check
