Key Qualifications:
Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred. Understanding of psychological assessment, IEP development, and multi-disciplinary team collaboration. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff.
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to determine students' eligibility for special education services. Provide direct services, including counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis support. Work alongside teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Participate actively in team meetings, sharing insights and advocating for student needs. Maintain accurate records and adhere to all regulatory requirements. Support a culture of inclusivity and ongoing learning within the school community.
