Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in Minnesota Proven experience in developing IEP goals and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) through the use of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) Strong ability to interpret and apply state and federal special education regulations Excellent collaborative skills for working closely with staff, families, and administrators Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in student care
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and provide consultation to support student learning and well-being Participate actively in IEP meetings, goal setting, and development of PBSPs Utilize FBAs to inform intervention planning and behavioral supports Offer direct services to students and provide guidance to teachers and families Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal regulations, maintaining accurate and timely documentation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize educational outcomes for all students This position is a great fit for a professional seeking a rewarding contract opportunity in an engaging school environment.
