Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract This position seeks a skilled School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services within an educational setting. The role involves supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students' needs, strengths, and areas for growth. Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student success. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address behavioral and learning challenges. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide crisis intervention and counseling support as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with professional and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Appropriate state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience conducting assessments and providing interventions in school settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations, families, and staff. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in school psychology.
