Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services in various educational settings. This role involves working directly with students, educators, and families to support the mental health and educational development of children and adolescents.
Location:
Tupelo, MS (with travel to multiple school sites)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to maximize effectiveness Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments in school settings Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and staff Ability and willingness to travel to different school sites as required
