Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced School Psychologist for the 2026/2027 school year in Laurel, Montana. This position is ideal for professionals skilled in conducting evaluations, managing cases, and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. The role is a contract position within a school setting, providing essential psychological services to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' educational and emotional needs. Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to develop tailored student plans. Manage cases by monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary. Provide guidance and consultation to teachers and staff on student behavioral and learning needs. Maintain accurate records and documentation compliant with district and state regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
Credentials and licensure as a School Psychologist. Proven experience working in school environments addressing diverse student needs. Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration. Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
