Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-6th graders as a School Psychologist in a leading educational setting near Raleigh, NC. This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a lasting impact by assisting students through evaluations and assessments, working face-to-face with children and school staff. As a valued professional in this role, you'll collaborate with teachers and other specialists to ensure students receive the individualized support and interventions they need to succeed.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active School Psychologist certification, with relevant state licensure Previous experience in K-6 settings is preferred Strong background in conducting psycho-educational evaluations and assessments Comfortable working on-site in a school environment Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with families Excellent verbal and written communication skillsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-6 Collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members to develop support plans Interpret assessment data to guide interventions and eligibility recommendations Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and documentation Provide recommendations for evidence-based interventions and accommodations Support crisis intervention and counseling as needed Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with all regulations This is a full-time, in-person role offering the stability and satisfaction of supporting young learners in their educational journey.
