In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to diverse patient populations across inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth settings. Your expertise will support individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, in overcoming mental health challenges and enhancing their overall well-being. You will conduct psychological assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group therapy, and trauma-focused interventions. Your work will be instrumental in promoting mental health resilience and recovery through patient-centered care and innovative therapeutic approaches. Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and behavioral health screenings for individuals across various age groups and conditions. Develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, PTSD care strategies, addiction counseling, and behavioral health interventions. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions to address issues related to mental health disorders, disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, trauma, substance abuse, and more. Manage crisis intervention situations with prompt response to acute mental health emergencies while ensuring patient safety. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations; document intake assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical staff, educators, and caregivers to ensure holistic patient care. Participate in research initiatives to advance clinical practices and improve patient outcomes; stay current with emerging trends in mental health treatment and telehealth services. Qualifications Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution; licensure or certification as required by state law for practice as a licensed psychologist. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults or geriatrics in clinical settings; prior hospital or inpatient experience preferred. Strong skills in clinical counseling techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, trauma-informed care (including PTSD), addiction counseling, and working with individuals with autism or disabilities. Experience conducting psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations; familiarity with intake procedures and patient assessment tools. Ability to provide crisis intervention effectively in high-pressure situations; knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records management. Excellent communication skills for engaging patients of diverse backgrounds through telehealth or face-to-face sessions. Demonstrated supervisory experience is a plus for those interested in mentoring junior staff or interns.
