Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact across multiple campuses by supporting student success and well-being in a dynamic educational environment. This contract position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled school psychologist to serve all 11 sites within a vibrant K-12 district for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments for students in grades K-12 Collaborate with the MTSS team to develop and implement evidence-based interventions Participate in determination of student eligibility for special education and related services Provide crisis intervention and support as needed across all school sites Offer consultation to teachers, administrators, and families on student learning, behavior, and mental health concerns Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to professional and legal standards
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Master's degree in School Psychology Current or pending School Psychologist license awarded by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) Licensed Psychological Associate credential Experience working with diverse K-12 populations preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
