Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth as a contract School Psychologist for a part-time opportunity. This position offers a chance to work closely with students, families, and educators, helping to create inclusive environments that nurture student success.
What We're Looking For:
Credentialed or eligible School Psychologist with relevant state licensure Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred Familiarity with assessment tools and intervention strategies Strong knowledge of special education laws and IEP processes Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Compassionate attitude and commitment to student advocacy
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and behavioral needs Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Help guide data-driven decisions through consultation and professional insight Contribute to a positive, supportive school environment through proactive interventions and staff training This contract position offers flexible scheduling at 20 hours per week, making it ideal for those seeking work-life balance or supplementing existing commitments.
