Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Shape young minds and make a difference in education as a school psychologist for the upcoming academic year. Full-time professionals are needed to support students, educators, and families in a dynamic school setting near Morrisville, NC. This contract-based opportunity runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and provides an essential voice for student advocacy and mental health. What you'll need to succeed: Active professional licensure as a School Psychologist Experience in school environments, providing assessments and supporting student learning Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), special education, IEP development, and progress monitoring Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Completion of required credentialing documents (fingerprints, drug screening) Role highlights and duties: Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluate students to inform educational planning Provide counseling, intervention strategies, and crisis management services to K-12 students Interpret data, develop recommendations, and participate in IEP meetings while working directly with educators and parents Consult on behavioral and academic interventions, supporting data-driven decision-making Travel on-site as needed within the district; number of assigned schools and caseload will be confirmed with the district Step into a supportive, collaborative workspace that values expertise in student psychology and educational excellence.
