Job Description

Open positions in Rocky Mount, NC, Wilson, NC, and Greenville, NC Are you a Licensed Psychologist or LPA seeking a rewarding part-time opportunity that offers both flexibility and simplicity? Are you interested in exploring a new area of practice or add a little assessment into your work? Do you excel in differential diagnosis? If so, we invite you to consider this exciting role. We are seeking motivated and independent Licensed Psychologists and LPAs to conduct in-person psychological assessments. These assessments typically involve a concise yet comprehensive clinical interview and administration of psychological tests such as the WAIS, WISC, and other cognitive and behavior assessments.
Duties:
Conduct brief but thorough psychological assessments of patients' mental health conditions. Write abbreviated reports where you will provide diagnoses and comment on the functional limitations of the clients across four areas Submit your reports within 7 days of the examination That's it! No feedback required!
Requirements:
Master's degree or higher, in related area Valid licensure as a Psychologist or LPA in North Carolina (if applying as an LPA, you must be trained in and eligible to provide psychological assessment. We will provide supervision.) Experience in conducting psychological assessments Experience writing psychological reports What the job offers: Competitive pay
  • This is a contract position which pays per-case, generally making you $100
  • 325 per case. $1,000
  • 1,300+ per day is very doable! Up to ~$1,500 per day Same day payments Flexibility
  • Choose your own schedule and work when you want.
Straightforward work. Just complete the appointments, write and submit your reports, and that's it! We take care of everything else behind the scenes. All the orientation/training and ongoing consultation you'll need.

This position can be challenging and involves working with a population suffering from chronic mental health challenges, comorbidities, trauma histories, substance use difficulties, etc. Professionals who have worked in community mental health, the prison system, or in-patient hospitals, usually fit well. However, don't rule it out if you're on the fence! Lots of professionals at different career stages and from various backgrounds fit beautifully.
