Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities await skilled School Psychologists eager to make an ongoing impact in educational settings. This full-time, on-site contract position spans the upcoming school year, beginning August 24, 2026, and concluding June 10, 2027. Nestled near the Wake Forest, NC, area, this role places you in a vibrant academic community, supporting student wellness and development. Your expertise in school psychology will help shape and nurture a positive learning environment, ensuring all students have the resources and support they need to succeed. You'll be collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, providing assessments, interventions, and participating in critical educational planning forums.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current, valid professional licensure specific to School Psychology (required) Previous experience within K-12 educational settings preferred Strong understanding of psychoeducational assessment, crisis intervention, and IEP/504 processes Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to complete and submit fingerprints and drug screening for credentialing Flexibility to participate in a prescreen interview between 9-11am or 2-3pm
EST Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations Support the implementation of intervention strategies tailored to student needs Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams Contribute to the positive climate and culture across one or more schools (assignments and caseload to be determined)
