Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an engaging education setting as a School Psychologist dedicated to supporting elementary students for the upcoming academic year. This onsite, contract-based opportunity runs from August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and is ideal for professionals passionate about student development, assessment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary school team. As a valued member of a school-based support system, your expertise will help foster positive learning environments and enable students to reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current and valid
NE PSYCH
license required Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children, is highly preferred Solid understanding of psychoeducational assessment, behavioral interventions, and individualized education program (IEP) processes Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and work effectively in a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create and evaluate interventions Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services as needed Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal educational regulations
