Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in a small, close-knit educational community as a K-12 School Psychologist. This contract opportunity invites you to serve students across all grade levels, providing essential psychological services and supporting student success in a district where your expertise is truly valued. In this 0.5 FTE role, you will enjoy a collaborative environment with the chance to focus on quality, individualized care. You'll become a valued resource for students, families, and educators, helping to shape a positive, supportive school climate.
Your Background:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Current and valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility Experience working with diverse K-12 populations preferred Strong communication and consultation skills with staff, students, and parents Ability to administer, interpret, and report on psychological and academic assessments Passion for advocating for students' academic, social, and emotional well-being
What You'll Do:
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students suspected of having disabilities Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement interventions Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 Plan meetings Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed Recommend evidence-based strategies to support student learning and behavior Foster an inclusive environment, supporting the unique needs of a small district Experience the rewards of making a difference where your skills are truly appreciated, all while benefitting from a manageable caseload and a supportive professional setting.
