Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Per Diem Make a meaningful impact as a School Psychologist working on a per diem basis near Derry, NH. This opportunity offers flexibility while allowing you to collaborate with dedicated educators and support the academic, emotional, and behavioral success of students in a school environment.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Valid state certification as a School Psychologist Experience completing student assessments and interpreting educational and psychological evaluations Strong understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), special education processes, and IEP implementation Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, teachers, and families Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, confidentiality, and professionalism Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments and school needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine students' eligibility for special education services, excluding any RCT or testing Provide consultation and recommendations for educational interventions, behavioral strategies, and support services Participate in student support team meetings and share insights to guide appropriate educational planning Offer crisis intervention support and counseling services to students as needed Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Engage in productive communication with educators, administrators, and caregivers regarding student progress and needs
