Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type All Job Types Make a positive difference supporting students this summer in a dynamic environment close to Elizabeth, NJ. We're seeking professionals with experience in school psychology, psychiatric nursing (RN), or public health psychology to provide impactful services in an Extended School Year (ESY) program from June 29th through July 23rd. This opportunity provides a chance to collaborate with educational teams, contribute to students' well-being, and enrich your career in a supportive school-based setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid credentials in one or more of the following: School Psychologist, Registered Nurse (Psychiatric), or Public Health Psychologist Previous experience working with K-12 students or in school-based environments is preferred Strong understanding of behavioral and emotional support strategies Skilled in conducting assessments and working within multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and organizational abilities
What You'll Do:
Deliver psychological or psychiatric support tailored to students' needs during the ESY session Conduct evaluations, provide individual and group counseling, and recommend intervention strategies Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement student plans Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with policies and regulations Support a positive, inclusive atmosphere that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth
