Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within a school setting. This contract position is located in Piscataway, NJ, offering the chance to support students' academic, emotional, and behavioral growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and interpretations to identify students' needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and support services to address students' social and emotional challenges. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute valuable insights to student intervention strategies. Monitor student progress and adjust recommendations as necessary. Advocate for student mental health and promote a positive school environment.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational regulations. Experience working within school environments, preferably with diverse student populations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to student-centered practices and ethical standards.
