The role is for an experienced Industrial Electrician / Electronic Technician to support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems and automated equipment. Our client is looking for someone who can step into the role with strong hands-on industrial experience and minimal training.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic equipment used in manufacturing Maintain and repair motors, PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, control systems, relay logic circuits, and automated systems Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC logic Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment Assist with equipment upgrades and system improvements Install, troubleshoot, and program VFDs Work with 24V, 110V, 220V, and 480V electrical systems Support troubleshooting of manufacturing processes, machinery, and components Coordinate with the maintenance department for replacement parts and repairs Ensure all equipment and systems meet safety standards Report and resolve potentially dangerous electrical issues Provide backup support to the Maintenance Manager when needed Lead or assist other team members as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong industrial electrician background in a manufacturing environment Experience troubleshooting motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and sensors Solid understanding of industrial electricity, control circuitry, and automated systems Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults independently Experience with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance Ability to use multimeters and perform electrical testing Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and understand complex electrical drawings and schematics Good communication and teamwork skills Manufacturing experience is required; plastics industry experience is a plus Bilingual skills are a plus

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred OR Minimum 5 years of related industrial electrical experience

Work Environment:

Manufacturing plant environment Must wear hearing, eye, and foot protection while in the plant Ability to work in high-temperature conditions up to 110°

F Physical Requirements:

Frequent walking and moderate physical activity Ability to lift equipment/materials as needed Ability to distinguish wire colors and electrical system components

Schedule & Compensation:

Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pay range: $35/hour to $40/hour depending on experience Local candidates only No relocation assistance available
