Job Description Vicinity Therapy is seeking a motivated post-doctoral psychology fellow who is passionate about delivering high-quality, in-person therapy under licensed supervision. Position Overview We are looking for a post-doctoral psychology fellow to join our team providing in-person psychotherapy services under licensed clinical supervision. This role offers structured supervision, a diverse caseload, and a clear pathway to accumulating the supervised hours required for full New Jersey psychologist licensure. What We Offer Beautifully appointed, fully equipped private office space Comprehensive administrative support so you can focus entirely on client care A caseload built around your availability and preferences Weekly individual and group supervision with case consultation to support professional growth and best practices Supervised clinical hours accrual in compliance with New Jersey Board of Psychological Examiners requirements (up to 1,750 hours annually toward the postdoctoral supervised experience mandate) A flexible schedule you design around your life Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans under supervision Carry a caseload of up to 20 clients per week Provide in-person psychotherapy to individuals, children, and families Maintain thorough, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards Support clients presenting with anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, and a range of other concerns Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in the field Participate in weekly supervision sessions focused on case review and progress toward NJ licensure Qualifications Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology or a related field from an APA-accredited institution Eligible to obtain a provisional license or limited permit to practice in New Jersey as a post-doctoral fellow Completed pre-doctoral internship or equivalent supervised clinical training Experience working with adults, children, families, and couples is strongly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse client populations Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality Ready to Apply?
