Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications:
Master's degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current and valid New Mexico School Psychologist license Experience working in schools or with K-12 student populations preferred Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively across diverse age groups (elementary, middle, and high school) Familiarity with special education processes and response-to-intervention frameworks
What You'll Do:
Conduct assessments, evaluations, and psychological testing as part of special education and general education support Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to develop effective strategies and interventions Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and placement decisions Provide crisis intervention and counseling services when needed Develop behavioral plans and monitor students' progress throughout the school year Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment Working in this role offers the chance to inspire growth, resilience, and academic success in students.
