9603565-87511 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for an experienced school psychologist passionate about supporting elementary students and staff. This onsite position is conveniently located near Alcalde, NM, and covers two elementary school sites for the upcoming academic year, running from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027. Working onsite for 35 hours each week, you'll play a key role in shaping student success and well-being in a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker Demonstrated experience developing and implementing effective behavior intervention plans Strong skills in assisting staff with classroom and school-wide behavior management strategies Proficiency with pre-referral processes and conducting evaluations Experience supporting elementary-age children Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, oversee, and implement individualized behavior plans for students, collaborating closely with educators and staff Assist teachers and staff in managing student behaviors across a variety of educational settings Perform pre-referral consults and evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team Conduct student assessments, interpret data, and contribute to educational planning meetings Travel between two elementary school locations as needed Provide direct service and support to students, staff, and families to enhance positive learning environments Why Consider This Opportunity?
