Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys by providing vital psychological services across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in School Psychology or closely related field Valid New Mexico school psychologist license required Experience with elementary, middle, and/or high school students preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills Knowledge of effective interventions and academic support strategies Excellent communication abilities to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to assess students' learning, behavioral, and psychological needs Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct intervention and counseling services to students as appropriate Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop student support strategies Consult with parents and guardians regarding student progress and recommendations Deliver professional development and guidance to faculty on educational and behavioral concerns Support the creation of positive school climates emphasizing mental health and well-being Working in this position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a diverse district, addressing the evolving needs of students at multiple grade levels.
