The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and be skilled in providing therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children and adolescents, and requires a commitment to fostering mental well-being through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate mental health needs. Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients. Develop treatment plans that address specific psychological issues, including autism spectrum disorders. Facilitate child family counseling sessions to support family dynamics and improve communication. Supervise and mentor interns or junior staff in therapeutic techniques and best practices. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy services when necessary. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on the latest research and methodologies in psychology to enhance service delivery. Skills Proficiency in group therapy techniques and mental health counseling practices. Experience working with pediatric populations, including those with autism. Strong skills in patient assessment and psychotherapy methodologies. Ability to supervise and guide less experienced staff effectively. Familiarity with telehealth services and their application in psychological practice.
