Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of elementary students by utilizing your expertise in school psychology or social work. This rewarding contract role is based onsite, providing crucial psychological and behavioral support for an elementary caseload across two school sites. The position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, with a consistent 35-hour workweek.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker Previous experience working with elementary-age students Strong background in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans Skilled in supporting staff in managing student behaviors in diverse settings Proficiency with pre-referral interventions and conducting evaluative assessments Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple school sites Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
What You'll Do:
Deliver direct psychological and behavioral services to elementary students Develop, implement, and refine individualized behavior plans in partnership with staff and families Conduct pre-referral processes and comprehensive student evaluations Offer consultation and training to staff, supporting effective behavior management in classrooms and school environments Maintain thorough and prompt documentation of service delivery and assessment results Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to guide students' educational and behavioral success Travel between two school locations as scheduled This is a chance to foster meaningful change within a supportive educational environment, providing both challenge and personal fulfillment.
