Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the academic and emotional well-being of students by taking on a dynamic School Psychologist role in a supportive educational setting near Los Lunas, NM. As a valued contributor, you'll work on a full-time contract during the 2026-2027 school year, with your expertise centered on conducting critical evaluations for special education eligibility. Key Qualifications:
Master's Degree, Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.

S.), or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program (required) Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a School Psychologist (required) Previous experience in school-based psychological evaluation and report writing preferred Strong understanding of special education law and eligibility requirements Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for special education eligibility, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Use a range of assessment tools and techniques to gather data and make recommendations Complete timely and thorough documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements Participate in meetings to discuss findings and support intervention strategies Provide consultative support to teachers, staff, and families as needed This full-time opportunity spans from August 18, 2026, to May 28, 2027, during regular school hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (7:50am-2:50pm) and Wednesday (7:50am-3:20pm), totaling 35-36 hours per week.
