Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact supporting students of all ages as a school psychologist in an engaging academic setting near Santa Fe, NM. This contract opportunity allows you to collaborate with elementary, middle, and high school communities, helping students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Bring your expertise in assessment, counseling, and evidence-based intervention to work closely with educators, families, and other professionals. Your insights will guide educational planning, enhance learning environments, and promote positive behaviors across diverse student populations.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Master's degree in School Psychology (required) Valid New Mexico school psychologist license Previous experience in K-12 (elementary, middle, and/or high school) settings preferred Strong skills in psychoeducational assessment, crisis intervention, and consultation services Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff from varied cultural backgrounds Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and student advocacy Responsibilities include: Provide psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results for individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct counseling services and behavioral interventions to students Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive, inclusive strategies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing student success plans Respond to crisis situations to support student and school well-being as needed Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines This opportunity offers professional growth, a dynamic school community, and the chance to help shape young lives every day.
