- Time Instructor, Psychology
- FY 2027 Job Description CSN is seeking part-time instructors to teach Psychology courses in an on-ground format only.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach live, on-campus Psychology courses in support of the Psychology Associate of Arts Degree and general education requirements. Develop syllabi and course materials in accordance with college and department policies. Utilize department-selected textbooks and teach established course objectives. Evaluate student mastery of course outcomes and required competencies. Assess student performance in alignment with departmental and institutional assessment guidelines. Provide students with syllabi that meet college, department, and program requirements. Maintain accurate records, submit grades, and communicate with department and college personnel in accordance with established procedures. Complete required assessment activities and related documentation. Multi-campus teaching may be required based on departmental needs.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Psychology or a closely related discipline from a regionally accredited college or university.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related discipline. College-level teaching experience in Psychology or related courses. Experience using CANVAS or other learning management systems. Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.SALARY:
$925.00 per credit hour. Courses/Credits assigned may vary by semester. Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.
