Middle School Elementary School Psychologist | Sparks, Nevada Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Sparks, NV Job Details Contract $42.00 - $57.50 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. This role is designed for a dedicated school psychologist who thrives on providing assessment, consultation, and intervention services in diverse school settings.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in School Psychology or a closely related field Current and valid Nevada school psychologist license Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels is highly desirable Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and intervention strategies Committed to fostering positive student outcomes and collaborating with educators and families Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations to identify student needs and inform educational planning Provide direct support and interventions to students, including counseling and skill-building strategies Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement IEPs and behavior plans Consult with instructional staff to provide recommendations for classroom support and accommodations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise to guide student support services Collect and analyze data to monitor progress, adapting interventions as necessary Working as a contract school psychologist offers flexibility and the chance to work within a variety of age groups, adding depth and variety to your professional experience.
