Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. School Psychologist - Full-Time Opportunity School-Based Position We are seeking an experienced and compassionate School Psychologist to support students across the district through comprehensive evaluation, counseling, consultation, and crisis response services. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and evaluative skills and experience working with students across a wide age range. Qualifications Master of Arts, Master of Science, or Master of Education degree Certification as a School Psychologist Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a School Psychologist across the full age range Strong diagnostic, evaluative, and counseling skills Reports To Director of Special Education Position Goal To support the Director of Special Education in evaluating students throughout the district and organizing action plans based on each student's individual needs. Responsibilities Conduct psychological evaluations for students referred by parents or principals and complete reports in a timely manner Meet with parents to review evaluation results and recommendations Conduct classroom observations and additional assessments as needed, including Kindergarten screenings Serve as a resource to district staff regarding student diagnoses, disabilities, and instructional strategies Participate as a member of the CSE, CPSE, and 504 committees as needed Review psychoeducational evaluations from outside schools or agencies Provide short-term individual and/or small group counseling services Respond to student crisis and emergency situations Consult with counselors and staff regarding crisis response and intervention Make referrals to local and regional agencies when appropriate Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with students, families, and staff Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success within a collaborative school environment. Compensation for this position ranges from $45.42 to $65.42. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
