PSY 104, Introduction toPsychology:
This course introduces the power and potential of psychology in real world contexts through an examination of the five pillars of psychological science: biological, cognitive, developmental, social, mental and physical health. Emphasizes the importance of critical thinking, scientific research, ethical standards and sociocultural competence. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and learning, adaptability, a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace technology. This person will strive to create and maintain personal connections with students and the college community. They must be a friendly, enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic who contributes to Genesee's supportive community, dedicated to effective innovative strategies for student success. Must demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion as well as the ability to establish and maintain a positive learning environment. Incumbent must be mindful of and develop solutions that can accommodate all individuals to use GCC facilities without barriers, both digitally and physically.Job Requirements:
Master's Degree in Psychology of a related field is required. Teaching experience in a community college is preferred. This position will require the incumbent to provide online synchronous instruction.Additional Information:
